Job Description

Responsibilities of an actuary:

• Performing actuarial review and valuation of insurance reserves (GI and Life) – SFAS and SAP
• Experience study and technical reserves calculation, Life insurance pricing, NBV valuation, ALM, EEV
• Claims reserves – model development and validation, assumptions calibration, accounting
• Actuarial function setting and optimisation, reserving and pricing function setting
• Performing market investigation, project management and business development
• Interacting with independent actuaries and clients
• Financial due diligence of appraisal cash flows, reserves (GI and Life)
• Preparing reports (in English and Bahasa)

About You

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial science (mathematics and statistics)
• Already passed probability, financial mathematics, modelling, and actuarial mathematics exams from an international or local actuarial association
• Expertise in Actuarial software (SAS, SPSS, R, Emblem, ReMetrica, Prophet, etc.) will be preferred
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Willing and comfortable to work within a team
• Willing to communicate and interact with clients
• Goal-orientated individual with a problem-solving attitude
